After a teaser filled with popcorn action stunts, the newly released theatrical trailer for the late Paul Walker‘s Brick Mansions starts off on a bleaker note.
Set to an ominous cover of “Stand by Me,” the clip outlines the backstory of Walker’s undercover detective character, who fights corruption in a future version of Detroit.

RZA, David Belle and Robert Maillet also feature in the film, directed by Taken 2 editor Camille Delamarre. The action film is a remake of the 2004 French title District B13.
After Paul Walker’s death in a fiery car crash on Nov. 30, Relativity and EuropaCorp pledged a donation to the actor’s charity, Reach Out WorldWide.
Brick Mansions is set for wide release in the U.S. on April 25, where it will face off against the Cameron Diaz comedy The Other Woman and horror title The Quiet Ones.
