“I got to shoot with Hugh Jackman, the original Wolverine,” she said on Good Morning America on Thursday. “I started sweating when he came on set!”
Lawrence, who plays Mystique, also worked with Halle Berry, Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart in the reboot’s sequel, and noted that she wore somewhat of a new look for the shoot.
“It was actually way better this year — we got down from eight hours to three hours, which is amazing,” she said of her time in the makeup trailer. “Most of it is kind of like a suit-type situation on my legs, so it cuts off a lot of time. It’s much better.”
After reflecting on her character’s undetermined fate, she said of returning to the Good Morning America set, “This studio is a memory for me from when I was 14 on my first trip here. I was just so excited to see television being made, I thought that was incredible, so that’s why I remember this place more.”
