Image Systems Renamed Digital Vision
The Swedish company develops digital post production technologies.
Postproduction equipment manufacturer Image Systems is restoring its original company name, Digital Vision, and previous logo.
Digital Vision was founded in 1988 in Stockholm, and was renamed a year ago when it acquired Image Systems in a deal valued at €5 million ($7.1 million).
Earlier this year, Hans Isoz was upped to CEO and Kelvin Bolah to managing director. Isoz has served on the company’s board since 2010.
"There is heritage and value in the Digital Vision name,” Isoz said. "Our customers have been fiercely loyal to our products. … It is time to restore a brand name that is so respected and well known."
The company's product lines include the Nucoda grading and master systems, Phoenix restoration software, and Golden Eye scanners. Digital Vision trades on the Swedish stock exchange and maintains bases in London, Los Angeles and Linköping, Sweden.
