They will be exiting when their current contracts expire in July.

Twentieth Century Fox TV is losing two senior-level development executives.

Senior vp drama development Lisa Katz and senior vp comedy development Dana Honor will be exiting when their current contracts expire in July. The women, both of whom were promoted to their current positions in June 2012, will remain focused on the studio’s current crop of pilots. Their replacements are unlikely to be named prior to the upfront.

Katz, a 12-year 20th TV veteran, counts Bones, Sleepy Hollow and Empire among the projects on her résumé. Prior to this gig, the highly respected exec spent several years at Brillstein-Grey. Honor, who also is well liked and has spent more than a decade at the studio, is responsible for such half-hours as Fresh Off the Boat, Modern Family and Fox’s The Last Man on Earth.

The departures, which are not associated with the company-wide buyout program, come a year and a half after a leadership reconfiguration at the studio, which was once the sole priority of Dana Walden and Gary Newman. With the pair now focused on the network, too, multiple insiders say the studio has said struggled from diminished morale.

Both Honor and Katz will look to pursue new opportunities, and are said to be leaving on amicable terms.
