'24' team clocking in again at Fox

The "24" team is developing another thriller for Fox.

The network has given a seven-figure put pilot commitment to a spy drama that "24" co-creator/executive producer Bob Cochran is penning with David Ehrman. Cochran's producing partners -- "24" co-creator/executive producer Joel Surnow and the show's executive producer/showrunner Howard Gordon -- are executive producing with Cochran and Ehrman.

The project, tentatively titled "NSA Innocent," hails from 20th Century Fox TV and studio-based Real Time Prods. It centers on an everyman who finds himself caught up against his will in the world of espionage.

Cochran, Surnow and Gordon earned an Emmy for outstanding drama series this year as part of the producing team for "24." Surnow and Cochran also won an Emmy for writing the pilot of "24." The two are working with HBO on a limited comedy series to star Ray Romano. Additionally, Surnow, Cochran and Gordon are busy working on the "24" feature that is slated to film in the summer.

Ehrman has written for "24" as well as for CBS' "Hack," "JAG" "The Fugitive" and "Martial Law" and ABC's "The Commish."
