Madonna felt "fat," Beyonce got booed and one star rocked really, really long hair.

Hollywood's hottest stars turned out to celebrate the late designer Alexander McQueen at the 2011 Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute Gala in NYC Monday. The night's most head-turning moments:

1. Madonna says she felt "fat" in her dress. She looked chic as ever in an aqua Stella McCartney gown, but while walking the red carpet, she confessed to reporter, "I feel fat in my dress," according to UsMagazine.com.

2. Beyonce was booed on the red carpet. The usually stunning star suffered a style slip-up in an ill-conceived Emilio Pucci frock. New York magazine's fashion blog the Cut reported that she was even booed as she walked the red carpet with husband Jay-Z because she wouldn't take photos. "Beyonce's Pucci dress was so tight she could barely walk up the stairs as she failed to stop for the photographers," a correspondent for the site noted.

3. Tom Brady rocked really long hair. The football star sported a long, slicked-back look. “That’s his choice,” wife Gisele Bündchen explained to People.com. “He does what he wants. I love him no matter what — short, bald, fat. It’s all good. It’s all good.”
