Who needs a dress? Preta is loving these 5 after-dark appropriate alternatives that bring enough "cool-girl" glitz sure to eclipse all other bare-legged evening options.

Evening separates were all the rage on the runways at New York Fashion week. Jenny Packham showed silk trousers paired with sequined sweaters and Juan Carlos Obando, Kaufmanfranco and Ralph Lauren all had models walking the catwalk in statement-making slacks. Hopefully, Hollywood’s style stars will follow suit (pun-intened!) and spring will bring an abundance of pants to the red carpet, giving cocktail dresses and evening gowns a well-deserved break.
