Rosamund Pike, Daniel Bruhl Divert a Plane for a Purpose in '7 Days in Entebbe' Trailer
"Whatever happens, we did the right thing."
Rosamund Pike and Daniel Bruhl divert a plane for a purpose in the trailer for 7 Days in Entebbe.
The political thriller from Focus Features is inspired by the true events of the 1976 hijacking of an Air France flight en route from Tel Aviv to Paris, demanding the freedom of dozens of Palestinian prisoners jailed in Israel.
"We call upon revolutionary movements everywhere to focus the attention of the world on the Palestinian people's struggle," says Bruhl in the preview. Adds Pike to the hostages being held in Uganda, "Anyone who tries to resist me will be shot."
Jose Padilha (Elite Squad, Robocop, Narcos) directed 7 Days in Entebbe from a script by Gregory Burke ('71). Ben Schnetzer, Eddie Marsan and Denis Menochet are also among the cast.
It hits select theaters on March 16, 2018.
