8 make 'Three Strikes' team


Eight actors have stepped up to the plate for Comedy Central's baseball-set pilot "Three Strikes," from Jon Stewart's Busboy Prods.

Hamilton Von Watts, Frank John Hughes, Adrian Martinez, Reno Wilson, Phil Hendrie, Toby Huss, Nathanial Moon and Ken Jeong comprise the ensemble cast of "Three Strikes," a character-based comedy set in the world of minor league baseball. Their characters are part of the team at the center of the half-hour project.

"Three Strikes" is based on an idea from Alex Gregory and Peter Huyck (Fox's "King of the Hill," NBC's "Frasier"). The pilot will be executive produced by Stewart, Ben Karlin, Gregory and Huyck. Jim Sharp is the executive in charge of production.

Von Watts' credits include WB Network's "Charmed" and "Grosse Pointe," CBS' "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" and NBC's "Just Shoot Me!" He is repped by Lisa DiSante-Frank at DiSante Frank & Co.

Hughes' credits include ABC's miniseries "The Path to 9/11," HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm," USA Network's "Monk" and CBS' "Without a Trace." He is repped by Innovative Artists and manager Ted Schachter at Schachter Entertainment.

Martinez's credits include NBC's "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" and "Law & Order: SVU" as well as the films "The Interpreter" and "Taxi." He is repped by Phoenix Artists.

Wilson's credits include NBC's "Las Vegas" and "Heist," ABC's "Blind Justice," Fox's "Wanda at Large" and CBS' "Touched by an Angel." He is repped by Innovative Artists and Steven Vail at Vanguard Talent Management.

Hendrie's credits include CBS' "The Unit," Fox's "King of the Hill" and "Futurama," NBC's "Teachers" and the film "Team America: World Police." He is repped by ICM and manager Douglas Urbanski.

Huss' credits include ABC's "Help Me Help You," Comedy Central's "Reno 911!" Fox's "King of the Hill" and UPN's "One on One."

Moon's credits include CBS' "Criminal Minds," FX's "The Shield" and Fox's "24." He is repped by Victor Kruglov at Victor Kruglov & Associates and managed by Tom Ratiner at True Talent.

Jeong's credits include the upcoming film "Knocked Up" as well as HBO's "Entourage," FX's "The Shield." NBC's "The Office" and CBS' "Two and a Half Men." He is repped by GVA Talent Agency.
