A+E Networks Elevates Top Publicist Michael Feeney
The cable group has promoted the longtime employee to executive vp corporate communications.
A+E Networks has upped Michael Feeney to executive vp corporate communications, the latest in a long line of internal promotions for the publicist.
“Michael has been the architect of A+E Networks’ successful communications strategy for the past decade,” said A+E president and CEO Nancy Dubuc, to whom Feeney will report. “He is one of the most effective communicators in our industry and I am delighted he is a part of my management team.”

Feeney, who most recently served as senior vp in the department, will oversee global communications, corporate communications and corporate marketing, as well as A+E Networks' philanthropic and community outreach. He serves as the chief spokesperson for the cable company's roster of networks -- which includes A&E, Lifetime, History, Lifetime Movie Network, Bio and H2.
First joining the company in 2001, Feeney first served as director of publicity and public affairs at History. In 2004, he was named vp publicity at A&E Network and BIO. He was named senior vp in 2006.
A graduate of Marist College, his first job in the entrainment industry was as a NBC Page.
