ABC greenlights Garland Testa series

Untitled multicamera comedy is about young parents

ABC is developing a multicamera comedy from "King of the Hill" executive producer Garland Testa.

The untitled project, which landed at the network with a script commitment plus penalty in a competitive situation, revolves around young parents trying to maintain the fun of their youth while trying to grapple with the adult concerns of parenthood.

The show is produced by 20th Century Fox TV, where Testa has an overall deal.

Testa has worked on the Fox/20th TV animated comedy "King" for 10 years, rising to executive producer. Before that, she did a stint on ABC's "Roseanne."

Testa is repped by UTA and attorney Jared Levine.
