ABC's 'Life' crew pacts with IATSE
EmptyThe IATSE on Monday announced a labor agreement covering 40 members of the production crew on the new Jimmy Kimmel-hosted game show "Set for Life," set to hit ABC's primetime schedule this season.
A pact covering wages, benefits and working conditions was reached with a production entity of show-producer Endemol USA, union officials said. Negotiations on the agreement commenced after a brief job action at the show's Los Angeles production site Aug. 28, they said.
The memorandum agreement extends all terms of IATSE's Videotape Electronics Supplemental Agreement, retroactive to each employee's date of hire, officials said.
"This agreement underscores the continuing commitment by IATSE president Thomas C. Short to organize employees in reality and game show production throughout the U.S. and Canada," the union said.
