Adam Kolbrenner Launches Lit Entertainment Group

Joining Kolbrenner will be literary managers Kendrick Tan and Carrie Isgett, with additional managers to be announced soon.

Veteran literary manager Adam Kolbrenner has launched Lit Entertainment Group, a new representation-production company.

Kolbrenner was previously partner with Robyn Meisinger at Madhouse Entertainment, but the two recently parted ways, with Meisinger joining Anonymous Content.

Joining Kolbrenner will be literary managers Kendrick Tan and Carrie Isgett, with additional managers to be announced soon.

“I have been a fierce advocate for the original voices and ideas that the great creators and writers have to offer the film and TV mediums,” Kolbrenner said Tuesday in a statement. “Lit Entertainment Group will build from this core strength of story-telling and provide a truly unique management group deeply rooted in story development.”

Kolbrenner’s credits include the Denis Villeneuve drama Prisoners, written by client Aaron Guzikowski, as well as Netflix’s hit film Christmas Chronicles, written by client Matt Lieberman and story by client David Guggenheim. He will also be a producer on Free Guy, the upcoming movie to be directed by Shawn Levy and to star Ryan Reynolds. On the TV side, Kolbrenner will act as an executive producer on the recently ordered TNT sci-fi series Raised by Wolves,

Among the clients joining Guzikowski, Lieberman and Guggenheim on the Lit roster are Josh Campbell and Matt Stuecken (10 Cloverfield Lane), Justin Marks (Disney’s Jungle Book, Top Gun 2), Sascha Penn (Creed 2), Nicole Perlman (Guardians of the Galaxy, Captain Marvel), Justin Rhodes (the upcoming Terminator film from Tim Miller and Robocop from Neil Blomkamp), and Gaia Violo (Absentia).
