Adele Performs "Water Under the Bridge" on 'Fallon'
The singer also played "Box of Lies" with the late-night talk show host.
Heck, why don’t we just call it "Adele Week"? The singer is that hot right now, with her third album, 25, cruising to a historical best opening week on both sides of the Atlantic and its lead song, “Hello,” still hovering at or near the top of sales charts around the globe a month after its release.
The pop superstar brought her talents to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon overnight, where she delivered a confident, first-rate performance of “Water Under the Bridge,” lifted from her new album.
Business around 25 has been nothing short of phenomenal since its release. In just three days, it’s become just the second album to sell more than 2 million first-week copies in the U.S., becoming the top-selling album of 2015. And, in the same time frame, 25 has raced past 500,000 U.K. sales and by week’s end should hold the best-ever single-week sales record.
Adele also stuck around The Tonight Show to play a game of "Box of Lies" with her host.
