Adele's latest music video for "Send My Love (to Your New Lover)" made its worldwide debut at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night. The much-hyped video features the artist intimately singing to the camera in a Dolce & Gabbana floral gown before a black background, and then uncharacteristically busting move after move in a string of overlapping shots.

After winning top album honors for 25, the singer accepted her award via webcast before debuting the new trippy and upbeat video for fans both at home and in the audience.

Later in the night, Adele, who is currently on her world tour, was named top artist and again chimed in on video to give thanks. She picked up four additional awards. (See the full list here.)

Adele's "Send My Love (to Your New Lover)" was co-written with and produced by Max Martin and Shellback, while the video was shot in London and directed by Patrick Daughters, who also directed the Grammy-nominated video for Feist's "1234."

The kudocast is being hosted by Ciara and Ludacris, and includes performances from Rihanna, Madonna and Demi Lovato.

The 2016 Billboard Music Awards aired live on sunday on ABC from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
