The executive will expand her duties and oversee the network’s reality team.
A&E has promoted Elaine Frontain Bryant to senior vp nonfiction and alternate programming, the network announced Monday.
Frontain Bryant, who was vp nonfiction and alternative programming, will now oversee the cabler’s nonfiction programming team as well as development and production of its real-life series.
“Elaine is a well-respected and talented producer who brings an enormous energy and experience to the job,” exec vp programming David McKillop said. “She is a rare executive who possesses the combination of a strong creative sense as well as business savvy and I’m confident that her team will continue to thrive under her leadership."
Since joining A&E in September 2005, Frontain Bryant has had a hand in such projects as Criss Angel Mindfreak, Paranormal State and Storage Wars.
She will report to McKillop.
