The band’s recordings -- spanning from 1973-1987 -- have gone digital for the first time in a deal reportedly worth millions.

While Aerosmith’s more recent hits have been consistently available via digital retailers, several of the band’s defining classics were unavailable for download until now.

On Tuesday, Aerosmith’s Columbia Records catalog became available on iTunes, with the collection including 10 albums from 1973-1987. Fans could pre-order classics such as Aerosmith (1973), Toys in the Attic (1975) and Rocks (1976) beginning Aug. 25, with the official release set for Sept. 6.
The agreement between Apple and Columbia follows in the footsteps of an earlier deal between the retailer and The Beatles' label EMI in Nov. 2010. According to the New York Post, Aerosmith will pull in millions from the partnership.
