Alberto Rossini Named VP, Head of Entertainment of Fox Channels Italy

He will oversee programming of the pay TV entertainment channels of the unit of News Corp.'s Fox International Channels.

NEW YORK - News Corp.'s Fox International Channels unit on Monday said it has appointed Alberto Rossini to post of vp, head of entertainment of  Fox Channels Italy. 

Rossini will join the group in January, be based in Rome and report to Diego Londono, president & CEO of Fox Channels Italy.  

He will oversee all aspects of programming, production, on air, broadcast design and acquisitions for the group’s pay TV entertainment channels. Those channels are Fox, Fox Life, Fox Crime and Fox Retro on the News Corp.-controlled Sky Italia pay TV platform.
Rossini most recently worked at Digicast where he was director of TV channels Lei, Dove, Yacht & Sail, as well as Caccia e Pesca. He previously worked at Silvia Berlusconi-controlled Mediaset’s Canale 5, Viacom’s MTV, Nickelodeon and Comedy Central and Telecom Italia Media’s LA7. The company said he was credited with the launch of MTV Italia and the expansion of Viacom’s offerings on Sky Italia.
