Alex Kostich promoted at SPRI

He becomes a vp in the creative advertising unit

Alex Kostich has been promoted to vp creative advertising for Sony Pictures Releasing International.

Reporting to Ignacio Darnaude, exec vp creative advertising, he is responsible for print advertising campaigns internationally, overseeing one sheets, newspaper advertisements and collateral marketing material.

Kostich joined SPRI as director creative advertising in 2003. Before joining Sony, he was at Warners for 10 years in a variety of roles.

He has worked on such films as the last two "Spider-Man" movies, "The Da Vinci Code," "Casino Royale," "Quantum of Solace" and "Angels & Demons."

He is also the liaison for SPRI's 65 international offices around the world for print-related issues for the studio's releases.
