Chris Carlson's Commonwealth Unscripted will create, develop and sell original unscripted fare in partnership with All3.

All3Media America is adding another unscripted shingle to its roster.

The company has announced the creation of Chris Carlson's Commonwealth Unscripted, a newly formed production entity led by the Undercover Boss showrunner. As the 11th company under the All3Media America, Commonwealth will be responsible for creating, developing and selling original unscripted fare in partnership with All3

Carlson will continue running CBS' Boss, which he joined during season two. His new entity, which will look to cut through at a time when unscripted programming has struggled to break out, will be based out of All3's Los Angeles offices.

“I’m hugely excited by the opportunity to create new shows, while ensuring that Undercover Boss continues to be a hit show on CBS,” Carlson said in a statement, with All3Media America president Eli Holzman adding: “Chris has been a great partner on Undercover Boss and we look forward to expanding our relationship with him through the creation of Commonwealth Unscripted."

Prior to Boss, Carlson oversaw the series as vp of alternative series development at CBS. While at the network, he developed new idea while covering key franchises including Survivor, Amazing Race and Big Brother. Carlson's resume includes producing credits for Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List, Bravo’s Blow OutVH-1’s I Love New York.

The other companies in All3's portfolio include Bentley, Company Pictures, ID-TV, Lime, Maverick, MME, North One, Objective, South Pacific Pictures and Studio Lambert Associates.
