All3Media Takes Stake in U.K. Scripted Banner Unstoppable Film and TV
The company is the new venture from Noel Clarke and Jason Maza.
British TV powerhouse All3Media has taken a stake in Unstoppable Film and TV, the new scripted production company from Noel Clarke and Jason Maza.
The size of the investment was undisclosed, but All3Media will become the distribution partner for Unstoppable's output, while Stephen Lambert — part of All3Media through his Studio Lambert banner — will become the company's non-executive chairman, while also lending the services of his business affairs and finance departments.
BAFTA-winning actor, director and screenwriter Clarke is best known for his hit trilogy of films Kidulthood, Adulthood and Brotherhood, but has also appeared in Star Trek Into Darkness and most recently in Duncan Jones' Netflix thriller Mute. Actor and producer Maza has starred in titles such as the BAFTA-winning Fish Tank, Shifty and Welcome to the Punch, and has produced 14 films including 10x10, Victim and Brotherhood, having teamed with Clarke after appearing together on Brit-comedy The Knot.
"There are so many great opportunities to produce and share original drama that right now is a really exciting time to be working in TV," said Clarke and Maza, who will work from their London base while also looking to strengthen their U.S. presence. "With the full support of All3Media we’re aiming to build on our work so far, finding new talent and creating authentic drama for the widest possible audience."
All3Media CEO Jane Turton added: "I’m really excited to welcome Noel and Jason to All3Media. The breadth and quality of their work speaks for itself and it’s fabulous to be partnering with them as they launch Unstoppable Film and TV."
All3Media is owned by Discovery Communications and Liberty Global.
