Allison Hossack, Zahra Bentham Find Indie 'Guidance' (Exclusive)


The coming-of-age comedy from writer-director Pat Mills also co-stars Eleanor Zichy and Alex Ozerov.

TORONTO – The Killing's Allison Hossack, Zahra Bentham and Kevin Hanchard have found Guidance, the coming-of-age comedy from writer-director Pat Mills and Edyson Entertainment.

The Canadian indie also stars Eleanor Zichy (Skins) and Alex Ozerov, and has just completed shooting in Toronto.

Director Mills also stars in Guidance as a seriously inebriated former child actor who lands his dream job as a high school guidance counselor.

The film is produced by Edyson’s Alyson Richards and has financing from Telefilm Canada.

Mike MacMillan from Lithium Studios is co-producing.

Richards (Living in Your Car) launched Edyson Entertainment earlier this year, with offices in Los Angeles and Toronto, and Ed Gernon heading up the U.S. operation.
