Allumination inks deal with Trifecta

Allumination Filmworks said Thursday that it has signed a production and distribution agreement with Trifecta Entertainment & Media that covers four films, which are expected to concentrate on the family, sci-fi and Western genres.

"Allumination has always been aggressive in the area of acquisitions," founder Cheryl Freeman said. "This agreement offers us yet another avenue for quality product and a chance to develop that product from the beginning."

Allumination has a long-standing relationship with retailers and rental outlets like Wal-Mart and has also worked closely with Amazon, Best Buy, Netflix, Circuit City and others. "Allumination has a very strong distribution pipeline, and this alliance provides us with maximum opportunities in the expanding direct-to-video marketplace," Trifecta CEO and partner Hank Cohen said.
