Binge-watch the second season of the political satire

The Republican roommates of Alpha House are back for a second season. 

The political satire from Doonesbury cartoonist Garry Trudeau premieres today on Amazon Prime Instant Video, with all 10 episodes immediately available to stream. 

The half-hour show stars John Goodman, Mark Consuelos, Clark Johnson and Matt Malloy as Republican senators and roommates in Washington, D.C. The second season will see the politicians dealing with an upcoming midterm election and an uncertain political future. Guest stars will include Bill Murray, Andy CohenPenn Jillette and U.S. Senators John McCain and Elizabeth Warren

Alpha House was part of Amazon's first batch of original pilots in 2013 and was one of two shows picked up to series. Since then, Amazon has debuted two additional pilot batches and handed out series orders to Jill Soloway's Transparent, which debuted to favorable reviews on Sept. 26, Chris Carter's The AfterMichael Connelly's adaptation of Bosch and New York orchestra-set Mozart in the Jungle

Amazon's originals are available to subscribers who pay the $99 annual fee for access to free two-day shipping and other services.
