The actress said she frequents "jjimjilbang" spas in L.A.'s Koreatown, and shared other beauty tricks during a promotional tour for Japanese cosmetics brand Cle de Peau Beaute.

SEOUL — Amanda Seyfried says she often goes to Korean "jjimjilbang" spas in Los Angeles, the actress told South Korean press Wednesday. The actress also shared other beauty secrets during the promotional tour for Japanese cosmetics brand Cle de Peau Beaute.

"I had the most amazing welcome to anywhere I've ever been, in Korea. And I think I have the best fans in Korea… I've never seen anything like it," she said about the reception at the airport on Tuesday, which happened to be her 28th birthday.

When asked about her favorite physical traits, she said she was grateful for her lips. "I like to wear lipstick because my lips are big, and I know that it's something women everywhere aspire to, with so many lip injections happening in America. So I'm really grateful for my lips," said the actress, who appeared wearing bright red rouge and a dusty pink lace dress.

"I think I was blessed with good pale skin but I have to stay out of the sun to protect it," said the Mamma Mia! star, who went on to share her love for Korean-style "jjimjilbang" spas in LA's Koreatown while describing her skin-care regime.

"I'm a big fan of the Korean spa in Los Angeles. My friend Jenny Cho, who is my hair stylist back home, got me into going and getting scrubs," she said referring to the traditional Korean skin exfoliating regime using a "ttaemiri" scrub towel.

"Koreans take such good care of themselves… It's addictive because you feel like you have to go every month to get that dead skin off. So not only am I using Cle de Peau everyday day, morning, and night, and staying out of the sun, but I'm also going to the spa once a month, sometimes twice, and feeling rejuvenated that way. It's a really great tradition."
