Amazon Chief Jeff Bezos Snaps Up $12.9M Beverly Hills Home
The world's richest man purchased the property that backed on to his existing $24.45 million estate.
Billionaire Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos has snapped more pricey Beverly Hills real estate by buying up a half-acre estate for $12.9 million.
According to a report in the Los Angeles Times, Bezos' newest property backs on to the large Spanish-style estate he purchased for $24.45 million in 2007. Taken together, the two properties give Bezos a combined 2.5 acres of coveted Beverly Hills real estate.
Bezos' new house was built in 1956 and the L.A. Times reports that it has 4,586 square feet of interior space on one level and features four bedrooms and six full bathrooms.
The Amazon boss' latest multi-millionaire dollar purchase is a drop in the ocean for the 53-year-old who last week was named the world's richest person with a net worth of $90.7 billion thanks largely to his 81 million shares in the Seattle-based online retail giant.
