AMC makes bigger 'Monsterfest'


NEW YORK -- AMC will be expanding its "Monsterfest" horror movie programming with films on its Web site and a micro-site that will be available throughout the year, the company said Monday.

"Monsterfest" will showcase 240 hours of horror movies on AMC beginning Monday night with "Scream 3" and ending Oct. 31 with six films from the "Halloween" franchise.

On its Web site, AMC will make full length-movies available, including Jack Hill's "Spider Baby" and Francis Ford Coppola's "Dementia 13." The micro-site, which launched Monday at, will showcase interviews with horror movie stars, a blog and an original Web series, among other offerings.
