The pop star will take the stage along with fellow performers BTS, Jennifer Lopez, Billie Eilish, Megan Thee Stallion and Shawn Mendes.

Katy Perry will deliver a world premiere performance of her song "Only Love" at the 2020 American Music Awards.

The pop star and American Idol judge is returning to the stage, to spread a message of love and unity, on the 10th anniversary of her AMAs performance of her hit, "Firework."

At the end of August, Perry welcomed her first child, a baby girl named Daisy, with Orlando Bloom, as she released her newest album, Smile.

Perry is the latest big name to be announced for the music awards show, hosted by Taraji P. Henson, which will also feature performances from BTS, Jennifer Lopez and Maluma, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Megan Thee Stallion, Shawn Mendes, Lil Baby and Bad Bunny with Jhay Cortez.

Roddy Ricch and The Weeknd received the most nominations, eight each, for the 2020 American Music Awards and are both up for the top prize of artist of the year. Megan Thee Stallion is the most nominated female artist, with five nominations, including nods in the new artist and collaboration of the year categories.

The AMAs, voted on entirely by fans, will air live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday Nov. 22 on ABC at 8 p.m. ET and PT.

The American Music Awards is produced by Dick Clark Productions, which shares a parent company with The Hollywood Reporter.
