Selena Gomez is set to perform at the 2017 American Music Awards. Dick Clark Productions and ABC said Thursday that the multiplatinum artist will perform her latest single, "Wolves," for the first time on television at the fan-voted awards show. The 45th American Music Awards will be broadcast on ABC from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles at 8 p.m. ET on Nov. 19.

The performance of "Wolves" will mark Gomez's third time singing on the awards show, following the emotionally heavy 2014 performance of "The Heart Wants What It Wants" and 2015's lighter "Same Old Love." She previously won the favorite female artist-pop/rock award in 2016.

She has teamed up with collaborator Marshmello to promote their new single on social media over the past week. "Wolves" is Gomez's third venture into EDM, following her 2015 collaboration with Zedd, "I Want You to Know," and her 2017 hit "It Ain't Me" with Norwegian DJ Kygo.

Gomez revealed last month that she had a kidney transplant over the summer due to complications with lupus.

As previously announced, Diana Ross will be honored with the American Music Award for Lifetime Achievement in acknowledgement of her long-lasting career in the entertainment industry. The honor has previously been given to Sting, Whitney Houston, Gloria Estefan, Michael Jackson and Prince. Ross also will perform during the show.

Nominations for the 2017 American Music Awards were announced Oct. 12. Bruno Mars leads the list of nominees with eight, including artist of the year. Drake, The Chainsmokers, Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd and Ed Sheeran follow close behind with five nominations each.
