The show beat out fellow nominees Bodyguard, Homecoming, Killing Eve and Pose for the award.

Backstage, Weisberg reflected on the show and what he hopes audiences got out of it, saying, "This was a show about a marriage and that’s what we want people to think about and look back on that we explored and wrote about and acted and directed. A very intense marriage that went through a lot of ups and downs … a complex but ultimately loving marriage."
