AMSTERDAM -- Amstelfilm, set up by former Dutch Film Festival director Michiel Berkel and theater owner Krijn Meerburg, is the latest addition to the already crowded Dutch distribution market.

The Amsterdam-based company, which announced itself Tuesday, will focus primarily on releasing art house titles and digital distribution.

Titles already obtained by Amstelfilm include "Cloud 9" (Germany), "Links" (Netherlands), "O'Horten" (Norway) and "Flammen and Citronen" (Denmark).

Amstelfilm also said it will release the titles picked up by Mokum Film Distribution.
