It was previously set to hit theaters next summer.

Paramount isn't ready to open Amusement Park just yet.

The studio, headed by Jim Gianopulos, announced on Monday that the animated feature will now be released wide on March 15, 2019. It was initially scheduled to hit theaters on March 22, 2019, and was then moved up to debut on July 13, 2018.

Amusement Park will open opposite an untitled Universal film, directed by Jordan Peele, the breakout director of Get Out. Also scheduled to open throughout that month is Universal's How to Train Your Dragon threequel and Disney's live-action Dumbo.

Additionally, Paramount also has removed an untitled Nickelodeon animated title, initially due out March 22, 2019, from its release schedule.

Amusement Park features a voice cast of Matthew Broderick, Jennifer Garner, Jeffrey Tambor, Kenan Thompson, Ken Jeong, Mila Kunis and John Oliver, among others. The feature marks the directorial debut of Pixar animator Dylan Brown.
