Amy Britt Replaces Beth Klein as Showtime's Head of Talent and Casting

She has cast numerous TV series and feature films, including "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "Dollhouse" and the upcoming "Bad Teacher."

Showtime has tapped Amy Britt as its new senior vice president, talent and casting.

Britt, who formed CFB Casting along with Anya Colloff in 1998, will be responsible for overseeing casting for the network's original series. She replaces veteran casting director Beth Klein, who is exiting Showtime.

Britt will report to president of entertainment at Showtime, David Nevins.

She has cast numerous TV series, including Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Weeds, Monk, Angel, Firefly, Party Down, Children's Hospital, Dollhouse and Hung, and feature films, such as Serenity, Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story and the upcoming Bad Teacher.

Britt will be based in Los Angeles. She will continue to run CFB Casting.
