'Anatomy,' 'Lost' headed for Monaco


PARIS -- Organizers said Thursday that "Grey's Anatomy" and "Lost" will compete for the best drama prize at next year's 47th annual Monte Carlo Television Festival.

Festival CEO David Tomatis said that the Producer's Guild of America additionally have chosen "Curb Your Enthusiasm," "Weeds" and "My Name Is Earl" to compete in the event's best comedy series section.

Presided over by H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, the glamorous Mediterranean festival will take place June 10 -14 in Monaco.

Winners in the best international producer, European producer, actor and actress categories, chosen by a jury of international judges, will be announced June 14 at the Fest's Golden Nymph Award ceremony.

"The Festival recognizes and rewards outstanding contributions to information and entertainment worldwide by television programming displaying special artistic merit and exceptional talent," Tomatis said in a statement.
