Anchor Bay Canada Snaps Up DVD Rights to 'Ejecta,' 'Septic Man' and 'Hellmouth'

All three genre films are from Foresight Features and are penned by Tony Burgess.

TORONTO -- Anchor Bay Canada has snapped up three Tony Burgess-penned genre films from Foresight Features.

Anchor Bay's Canadian operation will release Ejecta, Septic Man and Hellmouth into the Canadian home entertainment market.

Jesse T. Cook's Septic Man debuted at Fantastic Fest and picked up the horror feature best actor award for Jason David Brown. Hellmouth by director John Geddes stars Stephen McHattie. Ejecta is a sci-fi thriller, featuring Julian Richings, Lisa Houle and Adam Seybold and is directed by Chad Archibald and Foresight producer Matt Wiele.

"We have been big supporters of the Foresight team since their first film, Scarce, in 2008. And it was great to see Monster Brawl and Exit Humanity establish them as filmmakers to be reckoned with," Rob Herholz, general manager of Anchor Bay Entertainment Canada, said in a statement Thursday.

"With horror scribe Tony Burgess collaborating on Ejecta, Septic Man, and Hellmouth, we expect things to go to a new level altogether," he added.
