Mrs. Potts is back.
Angela Lansbury sang "Beauty and the Beast" on Sunday, surprising an audience at NYC's Alice Tully Hall following a 25th anniversary screening of Beauty and the Beast.
Lansbury, the original voice of Mrs. Potts, joined composer Alan Menken onstage for a live performance. "Run along and get in the cupboard Chip," she said at the end of the song, quoting from the film.
The rest of the original voice cast members were in attendance, including Paige O'Hara (Belle), Robby Benson (Beast) and Richard White (Gaston).
A live action remake with Emma Watson as Belle and Dan Stevens as Beast will premiere in March 2017.
