Animal Logic taps Mori for games division

Mori formerly headed Activision

SYDNEY -- Australian visual effects house Animal Logic has hired former Activision head Giancarlo Mori to head up its new games division in Los Angeles, the company said Wednesday.

At Animal Logic Interactive, Mori will focus on original game and interactive entertainment design and development for traditional and emerging platforms and media.

ALI will take advantage of "the opportunities at the convergence of high end digital filmmaking and game creation, as production values for games increase exponentially," Animal Logic’s CEO Zareh Nalbandian said.
