Anjelica Huston a no go for Locarno

Swiss fest postpones Excellence Award

GENEVA, Switzerland -- Anjelica Huston has canceled her appearance at this year's Locarno Film Festival for "personal reasons," festival organizers said Monday.

The Oscar winner was set to be on hand for the 61st edition of the Swiss event, where her film "Choke" is due make its international premiere in the Piazza Grande.

The film will still screen -- with director Clark Gregg, writer Chuck Palahniuk and the films producers in attendance -- but Huston's scheduled Excellence Award will be postponed.

The festival runs Aug. 6-16.
