Oscar Isaac and Olivia Wilde will lead a cast that also includes Olivia Cooke, Samuel L. Jackson, Antonio Banderas and Laia Costa.

Annette Bening is joining Life, Itself, the relationship drama from This Is Us creator Dan Fogelman.

The story centers on a couple (Oscar Isaac and Olivia Wilde) that lead a multigenerational love story spanning both decades and continents, from the streets of New York to the Spanish countryside, and are all connected by a single event.

The project is filming on location in New York and Seville, and also stars Olivia Cooke, Samuel L. Jackson, Antonio Banderas and Laia Costa.

FilmNation, which bought the script after it appeared on The Black List, is financing the project fully and handling international rights, with domestic rights being sold by WME Global. Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey are producing for Temple Hill, along with FilmNation’s Aaron Ryder.

Bening was last seen heading the cast of Mike Mills' awards contender 20th Century Women. Next up: Ryan Murphy's Katrina: American Crime Story, where she will play former Louisiana governor Kathleen Blanco.
