Anthony Bregman's Likely Story Hires Former Weinstein Co. Exec Peter Cron
The bi-coastal producer also hired Jeff Stern to oversee scripted TV arm.
Veteran producer Anthony Bregman is bolstering his shingle Likely Story by hiring former Weinstein Company creative exec Peter Cron as vp film production.
Cron at The Weinstein Company worked as a creative executive. Jeff Stern, who started in development at Scott Rudin Productions before moving to Likely Story from Sarah Condon's Fair Harbor Productions at HBO, becomes vp scripted television at Likely Story.
At Fair Harbor Productions, Stern worked on two seasons of Andrew Haigh and Michael Lannan's Looking for HBO and Aaron Guzikowski's The Red Road for SundanceTV. Likely Story also promoted Ryan Featherman to story editor as the company moves further into TV.
The bi-coastal producer is also in preproduction on the film side on James Schamus' Indignation, based on the novel by Philip Roth, and on James Ponsoldt's The Circle, based on the novel by Dave Eggers.
