'Gremlins' director Joe Dante also will be on hand to present his zombie rom-com 'Burying the Ex.'

Anton Yelchin (Star Trek) and Alexandra Daddario (Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters) are slated to attend the fourth edition of Mexico's Riviera Maya Film Festival.

Yelchin stars opposite Daddario in the zombie flick Burying the Ex, the latest work from Gremlins director Joe Dante.

Actress-director Asia Argento (Marie Antoinette) will present festival opener Misunderstood, which bowed at Cannes last year. Also slated to attend the event are brothers Joshua and Ben Safdie, co-directors of the junkie love story Heaven Knows What, which won prizes in Venice and Tokyo last year.

More than 50 films will make their Mexico debuts, including Jafar Panahi's Golden Bear winner Taxi.

Three Mexican pictures will have world premieres: Tribeca grant recipient Raul Cuesta's Los Dias no Vuelven (Missed Days), a film about the regrets of a former tennis pro; Raul Rico's Noche de Resurrecciones (Night of Resurrections), which follows the son of a Chilean exile as he explores a northern Mexico fishing town; and Roberto Olivares' El Senor de las Tres Caidas, a documentary that centers on a Oaxacan mezcal producer.

The weeklong event runs from April 23-29 in the Mexican resort city of Playa del Carmen.
