Anton Yelchin's Parents Thank Industry for Support, Take Out Full-Page Ad
"He would be surprised by how many hearts and souls he touched," wrote Irina and Viktor Yelchin.
Anton Yelchin's parents, Irina and Viktor, took out a full-page ad to offer thanks for the condolences and support they have received in the month following their son's death.
The ad, which ran in the most recent issue of The Hollywood Reporter magazine, begins: "To all of you who have sent flowers and gifts for your condolences and kind words and to all who came to celebrate the life of our dear son, Anton."
It continues: "We are deeply grateful for your unconditional love for our son. He would be surprised by how many hearts and souls he touched."
Yelchin passed away nearly a month ago in a freak car accident at his home in Studio City. He was 27.
The actor will appear onscreen this weekend in Star Trek Beyond, which will have its world premiere on Wednesday at San Diego Comic-Con and opens nationwide on Friday.
