AOL names Arthur Minson CFO

AOL veteran and Time Warner Cable executive

NEW YORK -- AOL is bringing back Arthur Minson as CFO and executive vp, effective Sept. 8.

He replaces Nisha Kumar who left AOL earlier this summer.

The online firm, set to be spun off from Time Warner by year's end, said Thursday that Minson will return after a stint at Time Warner Cable where he served as deputy CFO and executive vp. At the cable firm, he helped with the separation from TW.

Before that, he was AOL's senior vp, corporate finance and development.
AOL CEO Tim Armstrong lauded "Artie's strong financial acumen, operating experience and deep understanding of our company and the Internet and content industries."
