APA Acquires Endorsement Firm Independent Artists Agency (Exclusive)


The boutique will expand APA’s branding staff to 20 members.

APA has acquired commercial endorsement firm Independent Artists Agency, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The Beverly Hills-based boutique was founded 15 years ago by Independent president Laura Fogelman, who said in a statement: "This new venture is a big step forward for us in continuing to exceed our clients’ expectations."

The acquisition expands APA’s branding staff to 20 people across the agency’s offices in Los Angeles, Nashville and New York.

Said APA board member and branding/digital head Brian Dow, who will continue to lead the combined department, "Independent Artists is a very well respected brand in this space and I couldn’t be more thrilled for Laura and her team to join APA."
