Jean Touitou has released a statement.

A.P.C. founder Jean Touitou has issued an official statement for his use of racial slurs during the brand's menswear show, which led Timberland to end its collaboration with the French fashion label.

"When describing our brand's latest collaboration, I spoke recklessly using terms that were both ignorant and offensive," Touitou told GQ. "I apologize and am deeply regretful for my poor choice of words, which are in no way a reflection of my personal views." Well, at least this time he didn't use Kanye West's name as an excuse for making a poor decision.
