'Appaloosa,' 'Other Man' bound for Toronto

Both receiving world premieres at the festival

TORONTO -- Ed Harris' Western drama "Appaloosa" and Richard Eyre's adultery thriller "The Other Man" will receive world premieres at the Toronto International Film Festival, organizers said Thursday.

New Line's "Appaloosa" stars Harris, Viggo Mortensen, Renee Zellweger and Jeremy Irons, and is the director's second movie after "Pollock," which had its North American bow in Toronto.

Eyre's "The Other Man" features Liam Neeson as a husband who learns his wife (Laura Linney) is in a relationship with a Latin lothario played by Antonio Banderas.

Toronto also booked North American premieres for Jonathan Demme's "Rachel Getting Married" and two French films: Anne Fontaine's "La Fille de Monaco" (The Queen of Monaco) and Philippe Claudel's "Il y a longtemps que je t'aime" (I've Loved You So Long), which stars Kristin Scott Thomas.
