CANNES -- Arclight Films and new Canadian production company Foundation Features will co-produce three more films following their thriller, "Altitude," which is completing production.

Directed by comic book artist Kaare Andrews, "Altitude" stars Jessica Lowndes, Julianna Guill and Ryan Donowho, and is produced by Escape Factory's Ian Birkett of Escape Factory from a screenplay by Paul A. Birkett. It involve a rookie pilot and her four teenage friends who find themselves confronting a supernatural force.

The new slate will include "Lucky Ho," an action thriller about a teenage Kung Fu fighter in a schoolgirl uniform to be directed by Bruce MacDonald; "Down Under," a musical set in the Australian outback in the 1980s; and the previously announced "Speed Demon," inspired by the last designs of the late, four-time Oscar-winning effects wiz Stan Winston, to be directed by Peter Winther with special effects designs by Patrick Tatopoulos.

The movies will be produced by Arclight's and Foundation's Rob Merilees and Dave Valleau with Arclight production head Mike Gabrawy as exec producer.
