Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson Make Red Carpet Debut in Space-Themed Outfits
Out of this world, baby.
Making their red carpet debut together, newly engaged couple Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson opted for space-themed looks for the MTV VMAs at Radio City Music Hall in New York on Monday night.
In what could be perceived as a subtle nod to the award show’s coveted Moon Person trophy, Grande, who is nominated for five awards including artist of the year, opted for a space-age strapless, tin foil-like silver mini dress, paired with over-the-knee boots.
Davidson’s interpretation was more literal, featuring a sweatshirt emblazoned with the NASA logo and “Sweetener,” the name of the pop icon’s newly dropped fourth album.
Grande will be opening the awards with a performance featuring 50 female backup dancers.
Saturday Night Live castmember Davidson — who proposed to Grande only a month after the pair started dating — took his devotion one step further with a bracelet featuring his fiancee’s initials.
