"It will show how I think today's women should dress," said Armani at a press conference in Milan following the show of his fall/winter 2015 collection, according to WWD. "The idea is to start from classic designs to create a new classic. It's a collection meant to last, which will be renewed as we go but will remain rooted in the classic style."

The new announcement isn't the only thing that's had the luxury brand making headlines as of late: last week, pop star Madonna took a tumble during her performance at the Brit Awards when a dancer tried to undo her Armani-designed cape. After blaming the fall in part to her wardrobe malfunction, Armani was quick to defend the brand. According to an interview with Associated Press, the designer called Madonna "difficult," also noting, "This cape had a hook and she wanted a tie, and she wasn't able to open it with her hands. That's all there is to it."
