“Stay away from Cuba," the suspect yelled.

Los Angeles Sheriff's Department arrested a woman who threatened employees at the Kardashian-owned Dash Boutique on Melrose Avenue with a gun and machete on Thursday afternoon.

The female suspect first entered the shop around 11:30 a.m Thursday, pointed a handgun at an employee and shouted, “Stay away from Cuba," according to the L.A. County Sheriff's Department.

The suspect then knocked items off the counter, pointing the handgun at a second employee before leaving the West Hollywood store, authorities said.

The suspect returned to the shop around 1:25 p.m., this time with a 14-inch machete. She proceed to paced back and forth in front of the business with machete in hand, shouting, before wedging the weapon between the door and the door frame, authorities said. She left the weapon wedged in the door frame and walked west on Melrose Avenue toward La Cienega Boulevard.

Later that night, detectives arrived at the suspect's residence with a warrant and took the 35-year-old woman into custody, according to a post on the Sheriff's Department social media pages. She was arrested for assault and criminal threats, and held in lieu of $50,000 bail.

This is not the first dangerous incident to occur at the location. Last summer, there was an arson attempt when someone throw a lit object through the window.

Dash was launched in 2006, a year before the Kardashian family achieved reality TV infamy with Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

The original boutique was opened in the family's hometown of Calabasas before relocating in 2012 to its current home in the trendy shopping area on Melrose Avenue near Melrose Place, where the store is flanked by more upscale brands like Marc Jacobs and Theory.

Khloe and Kourtney maintained that they were persuaded to join the Ryan Seacrest-produced series about their family as a platform to advertise the boutique.

The sisters opened two more Dash boutiques in Miami and New York City in 2009 and 2010, respectively. Kourtney and Kim starred in a KUWTK spinoff series, Kourtney and Kim Take Miami, which chronicled their opening of the store there. In 2015, E! launched another spinoff series, Dash Dolls, which documented the lives of the West Hollywood boutique's employees.
